Yes, the boat launch at Holter Dam is closed due to the federal government shutdown. Not to worry, all other ramps on The MO are open and functional.

We took a trip up there to take a look for ourselves. It is a little creepy with nobody camping up there. There are a few boats launching despite the closure. Nothing is blocked off, there is still access to the river, and I hear it’s still fishing quite well above the Wolf Creek Bridge.
