So… You Want to Be a Guide!?!

Guide Brock Long gettin’ it done on the Mighty Mo.

If you are longing to be a guide on the famous Missouri River, we can help.  To be a successful guide on the Missouri River, one must develop an intimate relationship with “The Mighty Mo’.”  One of the best ways to develop this relationship is to work in our shop and fish often.  Consider working for CrossCurrents as a paid internship– learning the fly fishing industry and operating a hospitality business.  Based on your season performance, crew members may apply for our Fly Fishing Guide Apprenticeship Program.  Already did your time in Guide School?  Great!  You’ll still need to develop that intimacy only time can give.  I highly suggest reading the following article from our fellow comrades  at GinkandGasoline.com – “Buster Wants to Be A Fly Fishing Guide”.   After you digest that information, fill out our application and come fish your rear off!
