Using a combination of technical fabrication and action-specific design, Orvis PRO apparel takes on the elements and provides the protection necessary in even the harshest environs. The PRO Insulated Hoody uses body mapped insulation to provide optimal temperature control through a wide range of activity levels and environments. 80g PrimaLoft® Gold Active insulation protects the body’s core, the head, and arms with weightless, highly packable warmth ideal for active pursuits. Polartec® Alpha® (80g), designed for Special-Ops teams, regulates body heat and moisture through the side panels, allowing the jacket to be comfortably worn through a wide range of temperatures and activities. The outer and liner are an Ultralight 20D stretch nylon ripstop with a special coating that provides puncture, tear, wind, and water resistance. Abrasion-resistant stretch-woven cuff panel and zipped, fleece-lined hand-warmer pockets. Zipped chest pocket and internal zipped security pocket that doubles as a stuff sack. Low-profile scuba-style hood for easy layering and better visibility. High-quality YKK® zips and DWR (Durable Water-Repellent) coating. Athletic fit ideal for layering. 100% nylon shell and liner. Shop Staff Notes:  The Orvis PRO Insulated Hoodie is one awesome piece of puffy warmth, uber comfort and fishy stylishness. It’s perfect for Fall through Spring and even great on cool Summer mornings.  All of the staff at CCFS got these jackets and/or it’s sleeveless cousin, the PRO Insulated Vest, as soon as they came out in Fall 2019 and live in them on and off the river on cool/cold days.  The DWR makes this jacket windproof and sheds water during a light sprinkle so this jacket is great as an outer piece but on colder days or rainy days is the perfect layer under the new Orvis PRO Wading Jacket.  The new PRO series of clothing and gear from Orvis all come in men’s and women’s so everyone can have hard core gear to keep them warm & dry and get out and stay out longer in any weather! #5050onthewater
