Helios™ 3D 6-Weight, 9-Foot Fly Rods are designed for exceptional accuracy but with enhanced power. They are the most accurate fly rods ever built, but offer remarkable strength and the ability to place a fly where you want it at distance. The Helios 3D 906-4 is a big water, big fly workhorse for trout and bass that can pound the banks within inches at sixty feet, handle a heavy nymphing rig with ease, or drop a bass bug in a distant lily-pad hole with ease and deadly accuracy. No cast ever thrown is identical to any other cast ever thrown. The variables of caster, rod, and conditions are too great. Helios 3D was designed to significantly reduce the variables at the point of release, focusing the energy of the cast to the intended target. Shop Staff Notes:  The Orvis Helios 3D 9′ 6-weight Fly Rod is a pin point accurate big fly throwing machine that can punch a long line out in a stiff breeze! This model is our second best seller in our shop because it’s just such a great streamer rod but also a an excellent choice for double nymph rigs or big dries when the wind kicks up (which happens a lot here on the MO). If you are looking for an excellent set of rods for almost all waters and fly types, then choose this H3D 906-4 for your streamers/big bugs/wind and the H3F 905-4 or H3D 905-4 for your nymph or all around rod and the H3F 864-4 for your small dry fly or small stream rod.  We’ll certainly give you a great deal if you want to buy all three rods from CCFS!
