Flows this morning are remaining steady in the low to mid 4K range. Good for wading and floating alike. Water temps are 64 degrees at Holter Dam in the mornings and peaking up a few degrees in the afternoons. Not bad for early August. Flows this morning dropped slightly to 4,340 cfs at Holter Dam, water temps there are 62 in the morning.   Another brown was caught off guard sipping near the banks of Montana’s Missouri River. It took the angler over 30 minutes to finally fool this critter. Three different fly patterns and many stealthy casts finally paid off when the fish came to hand. Off he goes to feed another day! read more →
